We met at a music festival in PA, when we were both invited to demonstrate our glassblowing in 2009. We spent the rest of that year sharing our passion for art and music while falling in love.
We combined studios and founded Four Winds Flameworks in 2010.
Our mission is to produce unique, high quality pieces that you will cherish. We pride ourselves on craftmanship and function.
Each piece is made individually. And is meticulously handcrafted with love.
We hope you can feel it when you hold our work!
Josh began blowing glass in 2006. He is known for his beautiful owl themed pieces. He is always striving to learn new techniques and grow as an artist.
He has been recognized for his flameworking by winning several Champs flame off competitions. He also has had the honor of being a featured demo artist at the DFO and Glass Vegas.
When he is not in the studio he enjoys traveling, hiking, concerts and watching sprint car races.
Shelah began blowing glass in Humboldt during 2001. Then she moved to Corning, NY to contine her study of flameworking.

Her work has been published in the Flow magazine. She has also competed in various flameoffs and placed at Glassroots in Madison.
She has had the honor of being a featured demo artist at Glass Vegas and OCF.
When shes not behind a torch she enjoys reading, diving, concerts, or spending time with friends.
